パリ・ベルヴィルの都市風景を背景に、壁の裂け目から想像世界が広がる作品。作家が拠点とする、移民文化やストリートアートが息づき、再開発と古くからのコミュニティが共存するベルヴィルの文脈の中で、地名「Belleville」を「Belle vie（美しい人生）」へ置き換える言葉遊びとともに、タイトル《壁の向こう側》は現実の境界を越える希望と想像力を示唆しています。


Inspired by Belleville in Paris, where the artist’s studio is based — a neighborhood shaped by immigrant cultures, street art, and evolving communities — this work opens a poetic world beyond a cracked wall. By transforming “Belleville” into “Belle vie” (“beautiful life”), the artist invites us to imagine hope and possibility beyond visible boundaries.
